On December 10, 2021, Wink Digital threw a bash in (belated) celebration of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th year anniversaries and the close of 2021. We invited friends, family, clients, and vendors from across the country to join us at a party to not be forgotten. We’re biased, but we think we delivered.
Our party was delightfully intimate in nature. Everyone who attended was deeply connected with Wink and cherished for being a member of our community. For a year that was so full of uplifting and groundbreaking moments, this event celebrated it. For a year that was full of challenges, heartbreak, and grief, this party honored it. Our vendors, too, were very connected to the Wink vision, and executed such a lovely, tailored experience for us and our guests.
Rhiannon Bosse, a client of 5 years that turned into a close personal friend of mine, designed and planned the event, as well as designed all the florals. With inspiration from our color palette and the textural experience of our office, she crafted an event that mimicked these elements. The flowers were sourced from Florabundance and Mayesh, and assembled to create harmony among the different colors in a way that didn’t feel like a traditional rainbow, but rather a conglomerate of unique hues and tones that together depicted a melding of our ideas with our clients’ visions. Oh, and they were fun and fabulous, just like us. ;)
She flew from Michigan to celebrate this event with us, and we are humbled continually by her willingness to be such an important part of Wink’s story.
Art of Catering, a client of 3.5 years, provided the catering services, and let me just tell you, they were nothing short of exceptional. For the food, we had:
And our drinks were just as fabulous.
Everything on the menu was delicious, on-brand, and 100% vegan.
Jess The Ripper, a client of 1 year, performed as our DJ, and they were nothing short of RIPPING. Their music elevated the event and made it the dance party you didn’t know you wanted at a corporate event. Starting off the event with some elevated ambient music, they transitioned into cross-generational mainstream beats to close out the evening. Everyone was singing, dancing, and wishing the music would carry on into the latest hours of the evening.
Rentals for the event were provided by West Coast Event Productions. They were efficient and organized. Without the draping and lighting provided by their team, we could never have made our Alice in Wonderland chute dreams come to life.
The most fabulous cakes were created to match our branding by the genius team over at Dream Cakes, led by Johannah Zuniga. Oh, and they were also 100% vegan. The flavors were exceptional.
The cakes were decorate the mirror the design of our mural.
The cute Wink-y cookies were created by Carrie and her team at Unicorn Bake Shop. The cookies had a slight lemony taste to them that gave a whole new feeling to traditional frosted sugar cookies. The colors were perfectly on-brand, and the flavor was nothing short of lovely.
The balloon installation that made us completely in awe of how fresh and dynamic balloons can be was built by Desi Brooks of Blown PDX Balloons. They were SO fun, and such a great conversation piece. Desi was beautifully responsive and lived up to the hype her Instagram gave us.
The photography during the event was provided by Wink’s in-house photographer. She captured the moments of joy, love, and gratefulness at the event.
Finally, the design for the stationery and signage was done by Michelle Parent on the Wink team and printed by Stevens Integrated Solutions, courtesy of Lonnie. The invitation design, printed with gold ink and packaged in a beautiful gold envelope, helped elevate the traditional experience of a corporate event.
To all that were able to attend, thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing up to support a very important, challenging, exciting year at Wink. We are so honored that you chose to spend an evening with us. To all that celebrated from afar and sent nice messages, your kindness means more than you know. And to all that couldn’t make it, we hope to see you next year.
